Rhyming Words

We know that words rhyme because 'they have the same sound at the end.' Such as; cat, mat and hat. They all have the '-at' sound at the end.

-Use the powerpoint to practice identifying rhyming words. You could keep a record of which words rhyme by writing them down.

-Complete the sheet and match the rhyming words.

-Can you continue a rhyming string? Write the answers on the worksheet.
