Homework

There are three weekly tasks to be completed for homework.

  1. Read to an adult at home at least three times a week for a minimum of 10 minutes.
  2. Login in to Times Table Rockstars. Over the week please spend at least 10 minutes playing in the Garage section of the App as this has the bespoke timetables for your child.
  3. Fridge words should be read and children should practise spelling them. Children will be sent home new fridge words at the beginning of each English cycle.

PE

Both classes will participate in two PE session per week.

In Term 5, both lessons will be on Thursdays.

Please ensure that your child has the correct kit, a list is in the front of their reading diaries if you have any queries re: PE kit. Children will get changed at school. On a Thursday, PE kits will be sent home to be washed. They must be returned on a Monday morning.

Children will be taking part in the daily mile. They will not need to bring in additional P.E kit for this and it will take place throughout the normal daily timetable.

Reading Diaries

Reading diaries must be in school every day. Please ensure that you sign the reading record every time your child reads. They will not be able to change their book if their reading record is not signed.
