As you know, we are hoping to see our Year 6’s soon, however as we are not sure the exact timings at this point in time we have adapted the way that home learning will look over this final term. The thinking behind this change is that it will allow similar learning  to take place whether the children are at home or in school. Please see below the home learning for the first week of term six. 

 

There are booklets for English, Maths and Topic work.  The English and Maths booklets include five lessons, one for each day.  The Topic Booklet includes 4 sessions; on the fifth day the children should continue to do some form of exercise such as a walk/bike ride or online dance lesson. We also recommend that children continue to use Joe Wicks to support their daily exercise.

For Maths and English lessons, the activities will support the consolidation of important Year Six skills that will support their transition ready for secondary school.

If you are unable to print these booklets, please send us a message via dojo and we are more than happy to print these for you.  You will then be able to collect these from the school.  Once we have received your message, we will let you know the times they are available for collection.
