13.7.20

Hello everyone,

We hope that everyone is still safe and well.

For the last full week of term,  we wanted the children to spend time carrying out lots of creative activities,  based around the theme of "Summer."

There are suggested art and design activities,  where the children can use lots of different media, such as coloured pencils, paint, printing and collage. We have also added in some science exploration, to encourage knowledge and understanding of the world. As well as activities, there are powerpoints and websites to look at.

The maths packs are still available for your child to complete,  as well as handwriting sheets.

We would love to see photos of the children being creative!

Many thanks,

The Foundation Team

 Hello everyone,

We hope that you are all well. Thank  you once again for keeping in touch, we really enjoy seeing your smiley faces in photographs and videos! The home learning for the next two weeks is based around the story of "The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch." The focus for the first week is lighthouses and then we have moved on, optimistically, to the theme of seasides and holidays! Once again, you do not have to use all of the resources, as you could complete some of the tasks on paper. However, if you do require a pack printing off, please contact us.

Many thanks,

The Foundation Team

Hello Everyone,

We hope that you are all OK,  despite the change in the weather!

Thank you again for all of the photos and comments that you have sent us, showing the activities you have been doing at home.

Here is the new Home Learning Grid. It is based on the story of "The Train Ride," and it links nicely to transport and journeys. There are lots of resources for this topic in the folder below. Please feel free to just use paper, if you don't want to use all of the worksheets. However, if would like resources printed, please contact us and we can get packs sorted for you.

We would love to see photos of what you are up to at home, as we're missing seeing you all.

Take care everybody,

The Foundation Team

29.5.20

Hi everyone,

We hope that you are well and enjoying the sunshine.

We are continuing to send home learning activities, for those children remaining at home.

For the next two weeks,  we have chosen the story of "The Rainbow Fish." There are lots of fun activities to do around this story and with links to an underwater world.

We have recommended that you carry out one English activity, plus one Maths activity daily. Then you could choose another task from one of the other areas as well.

Even if your child isn't returning to school, we would  still like to keep in touch with you all. Please feel free to share photos and videos of any of the activities and send through any comments. We would like to still share a daily story from the  classroom,  via Class Dojo. Hopefully, all parents can accept the invite sent out,  during the school closure. We may also send some photographs of certain activities, that the children are doing at school, so you could do similar tasks at home,  if you choose to do so.

We look forward to hearing from you!
