Once upon a time in Year One, traditional tales characters took over the classroom...

 

This term, we will be reading traditional tales and relating our learning to them. We will read Red Riding Hood to learn about 'Stranger Danger', Dear Fairy Godmother, Dear Mother Goose and Dragon Post to base our letter writing on and explore Jack and the Beanstalk in our English lessons. In D&T we will be creating a new castle for the Giant, painting pictures of the Giant using the laptops and learning about different types of weather. We are going to be very busy!

In addition to all of the above learning, Christmas will be a very busy period for us. We will be performing a Nativity this year- details to follow...
