Maths
Task 1 – Today we are going to be using our knowledge of subtraction and addition to solve word problems. Read the question carefully and if you need to, use a bar model to help you figure out which function to use. If you don’t have access to Seesaw please find attached the worksheet below. Task 2 – We are going to be having an end of term year 3 TTRS battle. 3a Vs. 3b. Which class will be victorious? Make sure you go onto TTRS and earn your class some points.

Task 1 – Today we are going to be creating a ‘Missing’ poster for Varjak Paw using possessive apostrophes to help describe him.
Using the wanted poster(see attachments below), you need to describe Varjak’s most important physical features. You will need to start with a heading, you can magpie the below or create your own:
- Missing – Varjak Paw
- Varjak Paw, missing Mesopotamian Blue cat, reward for safe return.
You then need to complete a detailed description of Varjak where each sentence begins with his name (or an alternative pronoun) and contains a possessive apostrophe. For example, he has, Varjak’s hair is...
Think carefully about what we already know about Mesopotamian Blue cats. e.g. ‘Varjak’s ears are a silky, steel blue colour. Varjak’s nose is delicately carved into a perfect heart shape.’

Task 1 - Today we will be using our knowledge of sketching and shading. Your task is to sketch the below picture of Varjak in the style of Bill Yardley.
