The Winchester Science Centre

The Winchester Science Centre has released a curiosity challenge pack jam packed with educational, inspirational and fun resources for your family to enjoy at home!

Their aim is to get families learning and laughing together, with activities that will enable children to build their science inquiry skills – to think creatively, design, build, test, ask questions, research and evaluate – just like STEM professionals!

Our amazing team of Inspirers has put together these weekly themed Curiosity Challenge for families to enjoy at home.

Each Curiosity Challenge pack contains:

  • A Guide For Grown-Ups
  • 3 Activity Sheets designed to encourage children to practice their scientific inquiry skills.
  • 1 Activity Sheet designed to encourage children to review and evaluate their week’s work, to discuss what went well and what they would do differently if they were to complete the tasks again.
  • Other useful resources – downloadable resources or links to other online content.
