3B visit to Wild Woodcraft

3B trip to Wild Woodcraft

What a wonderful day we had today out in the wild, learning all about the Stone Age. It was a full on Stone Age experience and the children loved every second. The children made me very proud today, they were enthusiastic, well behaved, asked relevant and inquisitive questions, they all went outside their comfort zones and most of had fun! Check out some of the amazing activities we did:

First, we explored some Stone Age tools and got hands on with some weapons and animal skins!

We then got hands on and built our own shelters!

After our instructions and a safety talk, we then made and lit our own fires! 🔥

After a demonstration showing us how to boil water, we then learnt how to gut and cook a fish. We then tried some after a quick game of ‘eagle eye’.
