The Gruffalo - part 2...

We are continuing our learning about 'The Gruffalo' and by now, we should be very familiar with the story. So, now is the time to add our own twist to the story.

 

-Make a new character for the story. Be as imaginative as you can be. Think carefully about what the character looks like and whether it is a good character or a bad character. Draw a picture of your character and write a few sentences to describe it. Tell us about its special features, what it likes to eat and where it lives.

 

-Listen carefully to the story of The Gruffalo’ but stop at the part where the mouse meets the Gruffalo. Can you change the ending? What happens to the mouse and the Gruffalo? Where do they go? What do they do? Be as imaginative as you can be. Draw a picture and write a few sentences to describe the new ending to the story.
